Mild Pepper 'Poblano Trident', Ancho Pepper 3.5"

Capsicum annuum 'Trident' is an extra large poblano type pepper with a sweet, mild heat producing multiple harvests of 6.5-7" long by 3.5 wide, horned shaped fruits with 2 lobes and firm walls that are perfect for stuffing and grilling. They begin glossy dark green, then turn red at full maturity with good disease resistance. When poblano peppers are dried they become Ancho chilies, an essential culinary spice in Southwest and Mexican dishes. Approximately 250-1500 Scoville heat units.
