Citronella Geranium Quart

Pelargonium citrosum 'Van Leenii' This annual scented geranium is used as a fragrant, potted houseplant indoors or outdoors in the summer. With light green to charteuse, fuzzy foliage, it has a wonderful citrus aroma that is sought-after due to the belief that the scent will repel mosquitoes. However, though the plant is commonly requested as Mosquito Plant, there is not strong evidence that scientifically proves repellency. Regardless, it's a robust and generous plant! Small, lavender-pink flowers will appear mid-summer on this Citrosa, or Citronella, geranium. Brush or crush the foliage to release its scent. An amazing, fragrant "filler" plant in container gardens and herb gardens!
