Palm sedge is a dense, clump-forming, plant with unique foliage. Light green grass-like leaves radiate from stem tops, hence the name palm sedge. Spreads by seed and by rhyzome. Grows best in wet soil, but will tolerate drought. Excellent for rain gardens. 'Little Midge' is a much smaller variety.
