The Profusion series is a remarkable breed of zinnias with excellent disease resistance, drought, heat, and humidity tolerance, and easy-care requiring no deadheading. This award winning variety produces dependable, 2-3 inch, double blooms in vibrant cherry-red with a yellow, starry central eye over lush green foliage that performs in sunny containers and garden beds. Grow them in the cutting garden for fresh or dried flower arrangements with Celosia or Gomphrena, or in the pollinator garden with Lantana, Calibrachoa, Verbena, and Salvia. Grow in sunny areas, well-drained, amended soil or containers. Feed with a slow release fertilizer following label instructions. Repeat flowering, producing buds and blooms on top of the old, but deadhead periodically to maintain better blooming and a tidy habit.
