Petunia x Calibrachoa hybrid

SuperCal® and new SuperCal® Premium are hybrid "Petchoa" varieties that are uniquely superior. Part petunia and part calibrachoa, they are all-weather performers that can stand up to high heat and they're also cold hardy down to 24 degrees Fahrenheit. They even withstand heavy rains, bouncing right back with little to no damage. Leaves stay greener than other petunias under stressful conditions, and foliage is non-sticky. All in all, they make an excellent option for fall color and late season plantings that will hold up to the extreme temperature swings and rainy-wet cycles familiar to Northeast Ohio homeowners! Varieties in this vigorous series possess large, trumpet-shaped flowers in vibrant colors. SuperCal® Premium French Vanilla offers flowers that wax buttercream with dark bronze centers and the same excellent performance as SuperCal®, but with larger blooms, an improved habit, and a more mounded, refined growth. Enjoy them in hanging baskets, mixed container gardens, and in landscape beds and borders. Grow them in sunny spots with well-drained, amended soil. Feed with a slow-release fertilizer per label instructions. Trim, if desired, to maintain a tidy habit, but know that varieties in this series are self-cleaning and repeat-blooming with no deadheading necessary. Mulch 2" to suppress weeds and retain moisture.
