The Cordyline Plant, also called the Ti Plant, is a common decorative plant that makes for a wonderful indoor houseplant. It offers leathery leaves shaped like a spear with a variety of coloring like green, red, yellow, white, purple, and purple-red. 'Harlequin' offers a broad variegated leaf with colorful red veins. Care is straightforward but they must be kept warm and offered plenty of light. Grow in rich, well-drained potting mix. Cordyline do not like to stay wet, so offer routine irrigation but give the plant time to dry out a bit between watering. Reduce water during the winter. Feed spring through summer, using an all-purpose indoor plant option, as directed. .
