This old-fashioned, Japanese plum tree produces fragrant, white blossoms in late May that become large, dark red fruit with classic, sweet, juicy, firm, yellow flesh that ripens in late July-August, and is excellent for canning, preserves, baking or eating fresh. These heat tolerant plums bear well within 3-5 years old, and produce bigger yields when planted in multiples or with another Japanese plum, such as 'Methley' or 'Ozark Premier'.
