Pyrus communis 'Kieffer'
This self-pollinating, fruiting pear tree produces medium to large-sized, smooth, yellow to green fruit. The flesh is white, juicy and crisp. Harvest these pears firm, then store and let ripen until mid October for best flavor. They are cold hardy, blight resistant, early fruiting, and are excellent for canning and baking. Plant with ?Bartlett? to achieve greater yields.
