Pyrus communis 'Bartlett'

This popular, productive, European, fruiting pear tree features classically shaped, large, golden-yellow fruit with reddish-brown blush that contains a white, tart and sweet, smooth and juicy flesh. 'Bartlett' requires another European pear pollinator, such as 'Moonglow'. These pears start to ripen in late August, a week before 'Moonglow'. These fruit are excellent for fresh eating, preserves and canning.
