This northern highbush variety is a heavy producer of high quality, late season berries in August. White flowers mature into medium to large, deep, dusky blue fruit that are firm with a robustly sweet flavor. Glossy green foliage turns scarlet red in fall. Plants are self-fruitful, but increase and extend your harvest by planting an early and mid season producer like 'Duke' and 'Bluecrop'. Possesses excellent heat and drought tolerance. Use as a fresh snack, for baking, in preserves, or freeze for later. Plant with red-twig dogwood, deciduous holly and Itea.
