The most popular is the Moth Orchid or Phalaenopsis for their adaptability in home or office environments, longevity and beauty of blooms, and their excellent ability to clean the air. They're also people and pet friendly. Spray mist regularly and keep soil evenly moist to slightly dry. Supply extra humidity by setting on a shallow tray of moistened pebbles. Feed with an Orchid-specific fertilizer as directed or fertilize with a weakened/diluted all-purpose plant food (1/4 strength), weekly.
