Wright viburnum is a multistemmed deciduous shrub with lustrous dark green foliage that turns red in fall. Small white flower clusters appear in May, before producing bright red fruits. Great in borders, as a hedge or specimen planting. 'C. A. Hildebrant's' is smaller than the species. Prune after flowering to create and maintain desired form. Remove a few of the oldest stems as needed to rejuvenate the plant late winter/early spring.
