This improved Koreanspice Viburnum variety is compact and better branching. It produces 4-inch long, broadly oval, serrated, dark green foliage that makes the perfect backdrop to its stunning clusters of deep pink buds opening to blushed pink and white, 3-inch wide, snowball shaped flowers that exude an exquisite fragrance and attracts pollinators. Blooms develop into red to blue-black berries that are an excellent food source for songbirds. Its leaves turn red to burgundy shades in the fall providing three seasons of interest in shrub borders, as foundation plantings, or as a low flowering hedge in fragrance or cutting gardens. Plant with lavender, lilacs, and evergreen azaleas, in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil.
