Quercus rubra This medium sized shade tree is a tough, adaptable Ohio native. It produces a rounded, broad canopy of dark green, lobed and pointed leaves that turn bronze-red in fall. Slow to produce acorns before maturing a few decades. It is drought and polluntion tolerant, a very good grower in cities and as street trees.
