This Freeman maple is an outstanding hybrid between red and silver maples resulting in fantastic shades of orange-scarlet autumn color, distinct upright oval form, strong branches and an amazingly fast growth rate, up to 3 feet per year! Very cold hardy, adaptable to dry, alkaline sites making it more drought-tolerant than regular maples, perfect for street plantings and shade trees in the landscape.
