Cornus florida
Native, small deciduous tree with a distinct, uniform, upright branching habit. Large white flowers develop around Easter with four medium to soft pink, rounded bracts (petal-like leaves). Fall foliage is crimson-red along with small red berries. Makes a beautiful accent or specimen tree in a protected area or in the dappled shade under larger trees and wooded areas.
