This flowering Korean dogwood tree was developed by Rutgers breeding program. It possesses an elegant, horizontal branching habit covered in pointed, deep pink-to-fuchsia bracts that contrast beautifully with its dark green foliage. After blooming the tree will form 1", spherical, red berries that the birds enjoy. Dark green foliage turns yellow and scarlet in the fall uncovering unique, exfoliating gray bark for winter interest. More weather and disease resistant than Flowering Dogwood, use as specimens, street trees, in woodland gardens, and in shrub borders.
