Also known as 'Kanzan' or 'Sekiyama', one of the most popular cultivars of flowering cherries due to its rapid growth and showy, 2.5" wide, double pink flowers in spring. Its light green foliage turns red-bronze in fall, and winter reveals its shiny bronze bark and graceful, upright, rounded form in winter. This is an outstanding ornamental tree in the landscape, and makes an elegant specimen.
