Aloe 6 Inch

Aloe 6 Inch

Aloe spp.
Aloe is a stemless succulent plant spreading by offshoots. Its leaves are medium green to gray-green, with white speckles and serrated, toothed margins. Yellow tubular flowers may be produced in summer. These succulent, tropical houseplants can be grown outdoors in the summer and indoors in the winter. They are good air purifiers and their juices are used to soothe burns, a.k.a "Nurse Plant". They make excellent companions to other cacti, Echeveria, and many other tropical succulents. Grow Aloe in 4+ hours of direct sun per day to bright indirect light (5-6? from a sunny window), eastern exposure is preferable. Prefers cool to warm household temperatures, 50?-80?F during the day. Let soil dry between waterings. Supply extra humidity by spray misting or setting on a shallow tray of moistened pebbles. Feed with a multipurpose plant food, half strength, once a month, April-September.
