Aloe 'Donnie' 4 Inch

Aloe 'Donnie' 4 Inch

Aloe hybrida
Aloe is a stemless succulent plant spreading by offshoots. Aka 'Bright Star', this variety is part of dwarf series with rosettes of bumpy textured, white spotted, gray-green, pointy foliage with raised pink to red, toothy margins. Orange tubular flowers may be produced in summer. These succulent, tropical houseplants can be grown outdoors in the summer and indoors in the winter. They are good air purifiers and their juices are used to soothe burns, a.k.a "Nurse Plant". They make excellent companions to other cacti, Echeveria, and many other tropical succulents. Grow Aloe in 4+ hours of direct sun per day to bright indirect light (5-6 feet from a sunny window), eastern exposure is preferable. Prefers cool to warm household temperatures, 50-80 degrees F during the day. Prefers well-drained, cactus soil mixes. Let soil dry between waterings. Fertilize April-September with a multipurpose or cactus plant food. Follow label instructions.
