Ideal for decks or patios, this clematis supplies vertical interest in small garden spaces. Flowers are a broad-petaled pink with dark pink central stripes. As part of the Boulevard® Series, this variety is recognized for its easy-care, bushy, long-blooming and compact habit. Blooms early summer through early fall. Prune late winter or early spring as new leaf buds begin to show. Remove spent flowers to promote continuous bloom. Pairs well with Japanese Maple, Daylily, and Butterfly Bush. Plant in well-drained, dry soil. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week, for the first year. Apply granular, slow-release fertilizer according to package instructions. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring and summer, if/when necessary.
