Petunia x hybrida Hybrid petunias possess trumpet-shaped flowers in an enormous assortment of colors. They are not only showy but also repeat bloomers that self-clean over vigorous, low-mounding green foliage. The Supertunia® series offers beauty and brawn, producing vigorous plants with slightly mounded habits that function as both fillers and spillers in containers. Flowers are medium to large in size, heat tolerant, and drought tolerant. Enjoy them in sunny hanging baskets, mixed container gardens, and at the front of landscape beds and borders. Grow in well-drained, amended soil or container potting mix. Feed with a slow release fertilizer, per package instructions. Trim if leggy or stretched mid/late season to maintain better blooming and a tidy habit. Mulch 2" to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
