This is an award winning, whimsical annual that develops a plethora of tufted, globular, hot pink flowers on long green stems and thin green foliage. Gomphrena is a long blooming annual that performs well in hot, humid conditions, is attractive to pollinators, and makes excellent cut and dried flowers. They make cute filler plants combined with sun loving Petunias, Calibrachoa, Lantana, sunflowers, and your favorite spilling vines. Grow in sunny areas, well-drained, amended soil or containers. Feed with a slow-release fertilizer during the growing season per label instructions. Deadhead and trim as needed to maintain better blooming and a tidy habit. Mulch 2" to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
