Spikes of violet blue flowers spring through summer. Compact variety. Also known as perennial Veronica, Speedwells typically produce neat clumps of clean, green foliage from which dense spikes of flowers bloom over several weeks at a time. Spent flowers can be cut back to promote repeat bloomers. These plants prefer to be in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Pairs well with Gaura, Beard Tongue, Salvia, Coneflower, and Shasta Daisy.
