Stokes' Aster 'Peachie's Pick' 2 Gallon

Stokes' Aster 'Peachie's Pick' 2 Gallon

Stokesia laevis
Stokes' Asters posess the most stunning, 3-4" wide, vivid serrated flowers late summer to fall. They're showy in the garden and containers, resistant to pests, and prized for their cut flowers. These plants pair well with Salvia, Coreopsis, Black-Eyed Susans, Veronica, and Grasses. Plant in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. 'Peachie's Pick' is named after the plantswoman who discovered it, Peachie Saxton of Mississippi. The variety produces lavender-blue stokesia flowers as one might expect, however, it blooms much longer in late summer and early fall and a bit later than other varieties. With an upright habit and deep green foliage, it remains attractive all season.
