Russian Sage 'Little Spire' 1 Gallon

One of the most reliable perennials in the garden, this award-winning plant offers silvery-white stems and grey-green, dissected foliage that deer find to be extremely pungent. Midsummer, electric blue to lavender flower spikes develop and continue to show color well into late fall. It acts as a pollinator magnet in late summer. Though delicate looking, this plant is tough as nails in that it's resistant to drought, heat, pest, and poor soils. Prefers dry to medium, well-drained soils. 'Little Spire' is a great variety for a border area where you'd like to plant Russian Sage but need a petite version. Upright and compact, it does well even without spring pinching.
