A faster flowering option than the garden classic, 'Goldsturm', but with smaller, shiny, dark green, disease resistant leaves and smaller but profuse, single, golden daisies with dark centers. This variety produces abundantly to shade out the weeds in the landscape summer to fall, and tolerates drought, heat, is attractive to pollinators, and rabbit resistant. Combine with Russian Sage, Sedum, and Ornamental Grasses for a low maintenance garden. Plant in well-drained, nutrient rich to poor soil amended with compost or planting mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week the first year. Apply a slow release fertilizer in spring and again midsummer. Cut stems or deadhead to promote reblooming. Mulch 1-2 inches to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring when necessary.
