This graceful, mounded ornamental grass forms arched stems of wide, chartreuse lemon yellow and creamy white foliage. Leaves deepen to burnt orange and burgundy-red in the fall. Wonderful texture, form and color in the shade garden or in a shady container planted with Astilbe, Brunnera, Coral Bells, and Lamium. Clumps do spread gently via rhizome. Divide in spring. Plant in moist to well-drained, average to rich soil. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week the first year. Use slow release fertilizer in spring or at planting. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. In general, cut ornamental grasses down as low as possible in late winter. Propagation Prohibited.
