Anemone 'Pandora Double Fuchsia' Quart

Anemone spp.
Also known as Poppy Anemone, this variety forms a dense clump of ferny foliage in spring, followed by stunning, fully double, fuchsia-pink flowers with a black eye that look lovely when planted en masse in a garden or along borders. The flowers are excellent for cutting. This is a short-lived, herbaceous perennial that grows from a bulb (tuberous rhizome) that should be planted in spring every couple of years to continue their flowering show. Combine with other spring blooming bulbs, Campanula, Coreopsis, and coneflower. Plant in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week, for the first year. Fertilize in early spring and mid-summer with a multipurpose fertilizer. Mulch 1-2 inches to suppress weeds.
