Forms a bushy clump of narrow green leaves with short spikes of bright rose-pink trumpet flowers beginning in early summer.Beardtongues are native to North America and do well in most gardens. Flowers appear on tall stalks over attractive foliage. They are tough perennials that can take just about any condition, except they require well-drained soil, especially over the winter. the perform best in full sun for best blooming and disease resistance. Remove flowers when spent to encourage reblooming.
