Achillea millefollium A showy, compact variety of yarrow in the Tutti Frutti series that develops vibrant magenta-red flowers growing 2-4" wide over a vigorous habit and sturdy stems that do not require staking. Foliage is wonderfully aromatic with a hint of spicy fragrance and has an attractive, lacy, grey-green appearance. The more this flower is cut the more it produces! Grow with grasses, Coreopsis, coneflower and Dianthus. 18-24"h 18-24"w Bloom Time June-August. Care & Maintenance; Plant is well-drained, average to dry soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week the first year. Use Plant-tone and Iron-tone in spring or at planting; apply Osmocote in summer after cutting back spent flower stems to basal foliage to encourage reblooming. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Lift and divide in sprong or fall every 3 years. Propagation prohibited.
