Astilbe 'Visions' 2 Gallon

Astilbe are exceptional staples in the woodland garden, producing vibrant-colored, panicle flowers over dense, fern-like foliage. The 'Visions' series offers later season blooming and enhanced sun tolerance. 'Visions' offers a smaller stature than other varieties and showy, plumed flower spikes in a raspberry pink hue. Plant in moist, nutrient-rich soil amended with organic matter. Water well after planting, and maintain 1" of water, once a week, for the first year. Do not let them dry out. Fertilize in spring and midsummer. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide in spring every 3-4 years, after cutting back the foliage.
