Foxglove 'Dalmation Peach' 2 Gallon

Digitalis purpurea Nodding soft pink flowers with orange-speckled throats that lighten to a soft peach, this Foxglove is fast-growing and creates an amazing statement along the border. Tends to be a biennial, so go ahead and let the seeds fall in order to continue the plant for subsequent seasons. Plant in moist, nutrient rich soil amended with organic matter like compost and planting mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week the first year. Use slow release fertilizer in spring or at planting; reapply midsummer. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Combine with other cutting favorites including Peonies, Lilies, and Baptisia.
