One of the most popular palms to grow indoors, Majesty offers medium-green fronds at a relatively slow growth rate. The lush, dark green foliage has an elegant look and a sturdy habit. Palms are commonly used as floor plants in large living spaces, make excellent "thrillers" in an annual container garden, and can provide shade on a sunny porch or patio over the summer. Let the soil dry out between water applications. Supply extra humidity by setting on a shallow tray of moistened pebbles. Feed with Osmocote or Miracle-Gro April-September. Keep indoors over winter, and grow outside over the summer.
