Musa acuminata Banana trees make for a stunning large, tropical display. They grow very fast and will quickly fill a bright corner in your room or near a window. In typical Northeast Ohio household conditions, they do not produce fruit but they are very generous with their beautiful, unique foliage. Plant in uoose, well-drained, rich potting mix. Grow Banana plant in direct light or dappled shade. Water heavily during the warm growing season, and fertilize abundantly, as Bananas are heavy feeders. Re-pot over time as the plant matures to larger size.
