This unique, slow growing, evergreen shrub possesses a rounded, arching form with showy red stems, green and cream mottled foliage with pink to red to copper to purple (in winter) accents for year round interest. In spring, it produces pendulous clusters of white, Lily of the Valley-like flowers that can be cut and arranged. Use in woodland borders, as a low, deer resistant hedge, or planted with other shade loving plants such as Rhododendron and ferns. A.k.a. Drooping Fetterbush or Doghobble. It can be pruned after flowering to maintain a smaller form.
