Also known as Green Weeping Willow, this speciaes is considered to have the best form of the weeping willows. It produces an upright, spreading then pendulous canopy. green or brown branchlets are covered in narrow, grey-green leaves. Variable green-yellow color in fall. This tree is a classic specimen, best planted in wet, low areas near ponds or streams with plenty of open space around them. Plant with Hydrangea, Spirea, and deciduous Holly.
