Baptisia hybrid This member of the pea family sends up spikes of yellow flowers that fade to pink and then raspberry, in late spring. The foliage is bluish green, and offers interesting texture different from many other garden flowers. They are adaptable to most soil types as long as they get at least 6 hours of sun or more a day. Divide in spring or in early fall.
