English daisies are early spring favorites, producing fluffy, pom-pom to tufted, daisy-like flowers with bright yellow centers. They develop a compact, clumping growth habit with good flower vigor, performing right up until the heat of summer. Use in rock gardens, plant around spring blooming bulbs, and in spring containers. Bellissima™ 'Red' displays cute little double button flowers of bright red. Plant in cool, moist, nutrient-rich soil amended with organic matter like Petitti Planting Mix. Water well after planting; maintain 1" of water, once a week, for the first year. Deadhead this biennial to keep a clean appearance, but let some seed develop and drop. Mulch 1-2" to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture. Divide after flowering.
