Hydrangea quercifolia

Jetstream™ is more dense and compact, and resists flopping. The dark green foliage turns orange-red in the fall, and is less likely to develop leaf spot. Conical white flowers are held high over the plant, and fade to pink. Superb in the shady landscape, in containers or as a cut flower. Exfoliating bark provides good winter interest. One of the native hydrangeas to the U.S., low maintenance when grown in rich, moderately moist, well-drained soil. Winter mulch and a sheltered location are recommended. Grow with ferns, Heuchera, and Leucothe.
