Aka 'Dancing Snow', this gorgeous, double-blooming, lacecap to mophead hydrangea is an amazing garden performer with a sturdy compact, rounded habit covered in deep green foliage and topped in late spring with large, showy, pure white, ruffled blossoms with twice the amount of petals! An incredible repeat bloomer, frost and heat tolerant that enjoys plenty of moisture. Use in the cottage and cutting garden planted with daisies and roses. Plant in well-drained, amended soil. Water well after planting; maintain 1 inch of water once a week the first year. Prune down to uppermost growth in spring. Remove dead, winter damaged stems at this time. Deadhead in summer through fall. Fertilize in early spring and mid-summer with a slow-release fertilizer, according to package directions. Mulch 2 inches to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
