Hibiscus syriacus This dwarf variety is about half the size of a conventional Rose of Sharon, and sports an elegant, refined habit. Each stem is packed with flower buds that open to reveal rose pink flowers with a showy red eye. Developed by Dr. Kyung-Ku Shim in Korea, where Rose of Sharon is much beloved as the national flower. Like other Rose of Sharon, this variety is a long blooming pollinator magnet, heat, drought and salt tolerant. Use as a low hedge, in perennial or shrub borders, and in containers. A Proven Winners® variety.
